PennyCalc ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website pennycalc.com. This page describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that data. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell your data, and all calculator computations happen in your browser — nothing you enter into our calculators is sent to our servers.

Data You Enter into Calculators
All calculator inputs (income, loan amounts, tax figures, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to PennyCalc servers, never stored in any database, and never shared with any third party. When you close or refresh the page, your inputs are gone.
Automatically Collected Data
We may collect standard web analytics data, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search engine
- Browser type and version
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- General geographic region (country/state level, not precise location)
- IP address (anonymized where possible)
This data helps us understand which calculators are most useful and how to improve the site. It is collected via Google Analytics or similar analytics services.

Affiliate Links

PennyCalc earns a commission on qualifying actions, but we do not receive any personal data about you from these partners.
Affiliate relationships never influence our calculator math or editorial content. Our affiliate partnerships are disclosed on each page where they appear.
Hosting
PennyCalc is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, request time, page requested). See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated analytics data (e.g., "40% of our traffic comes from mobile devices") but this data cannot identify any individual user.
Children's Privacy
PennyCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
