Contact Us

We built PennyCalc because we wanted financial calculators that actually show their work. If you have questions, found a bug, or want to suggest a feature, we'd love to hear from you.

How to Reach Us

The best way to get in touch is by email. We read every message and typically respond within 1-2 business days.

What We Can Help With

Bug Reports

Found a calculation that doesn't look right? Please include the page URL, inputs, observed result, expected result, and primary source if one applies. Reproducible math and sourcing reports are prioritized, and material corrections are recorded publicly.

Feature Requests

Want a new calculator or an option we don't support yet? We prioritize features based on user feedback. Tell us what you need and how you'd use it.

Data Accuracy

Tax rates, contribution limits, and planning estimates change. If you spot outdated data, send the page URL, disputed value, applicable year, and controlling source so the team can verify it.

General Questions

Have a question about how a calculator works, what assumptions we use, or how your data is handled? Current calculator inputs and results stay in your browser and are excluded from analytics; our privacy policy explains the limited legacy-link caveat.

About PennyCalc

PennyCalc is built by a three-person team working across financial modeling and data, editorial and research, and engineering and implementation. AI tools may assist with drafts and code; the named humans remain responsible for reviewing sources, calculations, tests, and publication decisions.

PennyCalc offers calculators and reference datasets covering mortgages, investing, retirement, taxes, and debt, with state-specific data where relevant. Current calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser and excluded from analytics; aggregate page-use analytics do not contain those values.

Response Times

We're a small team, so response times vary. Reproducible calculation errors, data corrections, privacy questions, and accessibility barriers receive priority. Feature requests are reviewed as capacity allows.
